Henderson Pavilion welcomes the New York City Fresh Fest

Ever since CTS, which stands for Concerts, Tours and Shows, presented an All Star performance, provided by the Urban Legends at The Theater of Performing Arts inside Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas locals are always looking to support more awesome concerts-offered by the visibly "Urban Leaders of the Night life" in Vegas. A quick RECAP of the not so long ago event.

Just a reminder, the group Next are still grinding regularly in the studio; therefore, the new album should be hot off the press the beginning of  2012, entitled, “Music 101.” In case you missed After 7’s Keith Mitchell, Kevon and Jason Edmonds, the threesome returned to Vegas last month with a graceful and dramatic stage presence, soulfully, intermingling with the audience.  Needless to say, it was a heated performance; especially after the brothers, K-Ci and JoJo, motivated the ladies. Having said that, Nokio, Sisqo, Jazz and Tao fired up the already blazing theater with hits from days gone by; such as, "In My Bed," "Whatever You Want" and the list goes on. Jazz, sometimes called Big Boy of Dru Hill, took a moment to divulge information about all the spot dates that the group's doing; like traveling all across the country, while pushing their latest album “InDRUpendence Day,”(Found on itunes) as well as individually working on some solo projects.

Meanwhile, after a magnificent performance by the legendary Tony Toni Tone, D’wayne Wiggins, one of the founders of this gifted, musical family, gladly uttered the fact that they’re coming back to Las Vegas-- also, their working on a lot of new music, and staying on the road.  (The show was OFF the CHAIN, real talk)  At the same time, the humble, charming and very talented lead singer Amir Khalil stressed that, "the Tony’s are going to do what the Tony’s do- no matter what.,"  and after reminiscing from "It Never Rains,"(Southern California) "Anniversary," Feels Good" and many more, they did come correct!  For now click http://www.myspace.com/amarkhalil to hear Khalil's inspiring Gospel album "Where There's A Will There's A Way," and the latest updates of Mr. Amir Khalil doing his thing- new music.

Urban Legends would not have been complete, if there was no BBD; also known as Bel, Biv, Devoe or Ricky, Michael and Ronnie. While witnessing an uncompromising sound check rehearsal, it’s understandable why those superstars showed out as the last group to perform.  The power exhibited from BBD performing their hit single“POISON” was an understatement. The unvarying amount of high energy, in sync choreography and perfect harmony, opened up the crowd to embrace all they had to give. Outstanding!

In view of the most recent concert evaluation, from experiencing one of many first-rate shows that CTS presented in Las Vegas, CTS will be doing it once more and again this Labor Day weekend. It’s an extraordinary, back to school edition, with a twist--a Family Affair. That’s right, some hip-hop legends are making their way from New York City; it’s the New York City Fresh Fest. CTS said it best, “it’s a Labor Day party under the stars,” this Saturday, September 3rd, ’11, at the spacious, outdoor amphitheatre---the beautiful Henderson Pavilion.

This huge, state of the art, Henderson Pavilion welcomes all to enjoy, a legendary, hip-hop justification; good for the hip- hop soul.  In case there's an insane in the membrane, hearing favorite songs like, “Friends,” “Oh My God,” “Push It” and “Wild Wild West”might just recharge those brain cells.  And yes, it’s a family affair. With that being said, the line up includes Doug E Fresh, Kool Moe Dee, Salt N Pepa, Whodini and The SugarHill Gang.

Saturday, grab the family, call some friends and come out to celebrate Labor Day Weekend at the New York City Fresh Fest, under the stars, at the spacious Henderson Pavilion.
