Help the youngest Hurricane Sandy victims stay warm and cozy

The Pajama Program needs your help. Since 2001 the organization has delivered warm pajamas and bedtime stories to children in need. This year, due to Hurricane Sandy, the need is even greater. The Pajama Program has a goal of 2 million pajamas and books to reach and your school or daycare can help.

With your administration's permission, go here to print out signs for your classroom and fliers to send home to parents to start your own pajama and book drive. To make it even easier, have teachers register here and Scholastic (the book order and book fair company) will match each pair of pajamas donated to your drive with a book donation. There is even a customizable parent letter to download and print.

To take advantage of the matching program from Scholastic, submit your donations no later than December 14th and be sure to report your donation to Scholastic through the website. All pajamas should be new and clean in any size from newborn through adult. Pajamas for the winter months are the greatest need.
