The Strip is packed for Labor Day weekend, so it's even tougher to find a sit-down dinner at a reasonable price.
Restaurant Week, an annual benefit to help the Three Square food bank, offers three-course dinners at $20.09, $30.09 and $50.09 at big hotels and restaurants all weekend.
Try the $20.09 Restaurant Week special at BLT Burger for a quick dinner.
The price includes a fat southwestern burger, with chipotle peppers, avocado, pepperjack cheese and salsa, accompanied by sweet potato fries, choice of soda and a s'more.
(Never heard of a s'more? You probably missed one of the great inventions of summer camp: a molten marshmallow smothering a graham cracker wafer and topped by melted chocolate. It's a campfire thing.)
Sure, there are cheaper fast-food burgers for a lot less on The Strip.
But this place features a huge open kitchen with surrounding burger bar; flat-screen TVS; celebrity chef Laurent Tourondel (don't expect to meet him); and a comfortable spot to watch all the beautiful people get their carbs before club time.
A portion of proceeds from every $20.09 meal goes to feed the growing number of Las Vegans without enough food.
