Donate $10 dollars to help the homeless in Los Angeles and earn $20 dollars towards a stay at any one of Joie De Vivre’s four Southern California hotels or $15 dollars towards a meal at any one of four JDV restaurants through June 30th. HealLA, whose tagline is “Do Good Things, Get Good Stuff”, collaborates with local non-profits to create unique charity projects for which local businesses reward their clientele for making donations to those projects. In partnership with JDV, LA Mission, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless of downtown’s Skid Row for over 75 years, will then use the money to provide healthy meals to the impoverished patrons of the organization.
The hotels where vouchers can be redeemed are Hotel Erwin in Venice, Hotel Angeleno in Los Angeles, Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach, and the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach. Participating Joie de Vivre restaurants are West in Los Angeles, Zimzala in Huntington Beach, Hash in Venice Beach, and High in Venice Beach. Coming soon, HealLA will support projects with additional non-profits including Heal the Bay, Inner City Arts, Reef Check, Tree People, Stand Up For Kids, VCA Animal Hospitals, Meals on Wheels West, Westside Food Bank, Whole Child LA, Roar Foundation, Athletes For Life and several other non-profit organizations.
