With all the spring cleaning going on these days, many of you may be finding extra blankets, bath towels, beach towels and even hand towels that you no longer need. Why not donate them the local Girl Scout troop at Pitner Elementary School.

The Girl Scouts of Troop #2539 are collecting the used items so they can be donated to the Cherokee Emergency Veterinary Hospital. Please make arrangements to drop off the gently used items at Pitner Elementary School located at 4575 Wade Green Road in Acworth, Georgia, between Monday May 10, 2010 through Friday, May 14, 2010 during the hours of 7:15am and 7:45am; if not able to make it during the early morning hours, there will also be a bin located in the main hallway all week so that it is available to you during normal school hours as well.

Please check your closets and donate your items to help our furry homeless friends.
