On Friday May 6, 2011, a local St. Louis children’s charity, ”Variety”, will be holding an event called “Night of the Rising Stars” at the Palladium St. Louis from 7:30p.m. until 11:30p.m. Anyone that attends this event can help local St. Louis children in need and get a chance to win a brand new 32” LED High Definition TV valued at $380.
Variety has been in business over 80 years. They help children who are in need by providing medical equipment, educational and recreational programs and therapy. Not only that, they have distributed grants to organizations around the St. Louis area to provide programs and services to children with special needs.
More than 500 young professionals will be at this event to raise money for “Variety”. The event includes silent auctions featuring sport tickets, spa packages, one of a kind autographed memorabilia and more plus complimentary beer and hors d’oeuvres from local St. Louis breweries and Butler’s Pantry .
Ticket holders will automatically be included in the drawing for the TV. The winners will be announced the night of the event. Tickets can be purchased at VarietyStl.org in advance, for a discount price of $50 or at the door for $60. All but $15 for the cost of this event is tax deductible.
