Entrepreneur and Esthetician Sara Damelio created an organic skin care line, Skincando, to fill a nitch that she personally saw missing in the beauty industry. In her formula experimentation and research she created Combat-Ready Balm cream which is known for helping with eczema, sunburn, insect bites, diaper rash and blisters.

Since 2005, Skincando has been donating Combat-Ready care packages to the troops serving overseas. The cream has been a huge hit with soldiers as it calms and soothes their sunburns, dry skin and sand flea bites. Operation Sand Flea goes on throughout the year and every donated jar, a thank you note is sent to the soldiers. The care kits not only include the Combat Ready Balm but other products that are helpful; Combat Ready Lip Balm, Combat Ready Bug Repellant and the Combat Ready Bar.

This Valentine's Day, Skincando has a goal to send 500 care kits to troops overseas as a way to show them some love. The products in the kit range from $5 USD to $30 USD for the entire care kit. Help Skincando meet their goal and show some love to the troops.
