Help save music at Metropolitan Park

Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Jacksonville City Hall; 117 West Duval Street #425 Jacksonville, FL 32202 the fate of music at Metropolitan Park will be decided.

A bill proposed by Councilman Don Redman, Bill 2013-0008, if passed, will end all ticketed events/concerts in Metropolitan Park.

Metropolitan Park, already limited to 12 ticketed concerts per year, has again been targeted by the Jacksonville City Council for further restrictions. These restrictions would eliminate All ticketed events, massively limiting the purpose of the venue and directly affecting sales for area merchants. By banding together as citizens of our community we have the chance to keep Metro Park alive while also continuing to support the local business community. City Council will meet on Tuesday January 22nd, 2013 Tuesday promptly at 5pm to review Councilman Don Redman's Bill 2013-0008.
