The Pedigree Foundation usually kicks off their shelter dogs campaign in February at about the time of the Westminster Dog Show. In the past, Pedigree has been able to raise more than $7 million to help shelter dogs.
This year Westminster Kennel Club is being sponsored by Purina Pro Plan. Although no longer sponsoring the show, Pedigree, still wants to help raise money for the dogs. Pedigree is holding their very own “Every Dog, Dog Show” on Facebook between now and 11 p.m. EST on February 14.
For every dog lover who interacts with their Pedigree Facebook page (you can do this even if you're not “on” Facebook) – Pedigree will donate a bowl of food … up to 500,000 bowls of food! To participate, all you need to do is upload a photo of your four-legged friend or tell Pedigree your pup’s story. When you do, Pedigree feeds a homeless dog in a shelter and breed rescue.
