Help name the San Jose City Hall falcons

Clara and Fernando El Cohete are parents! The falcon pair are raising their four young chicks atop City Hall in San Jose and city officials are looking for a little help to name the new additions.

Today is the final day to participate in the San Jose falcon naming contest. Officials are looking for a meaningful name that is fitting for the falcon babies. Submissions can be made in the form of original artwork, a short essay, a video or an original song.

The contest is open to children between the ages of 5 and 18 years of age that live in San Jose. Entries will be accepted until midnight tonight.

Ten finalists will be chosen and posted online by May 3rd, to be voted on by the San Jose Peregrine Falcon Discussion Group, with the winning name to be announced on May 12th.
