On December 5, join the Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation (REAF) for their annual Help is on the Way for the Holidays show. The REAF holiday show is the Bay Area AIDS benefit.
The show features scores of performing arts luminaries, such as:
- Mary Wilson (an original Supreme)
- Loretta Devine and Sheryl Lee Ralph from Dreamgirls
- Paula West, Jason Brock and Amanda King (of cabaret fame)
- Sally Struthers (who knew she could sing?)
- Cast of Xanadu
From American Idol and America’s Got Talent, the show will also feature R.J. Helton and Shawn Ryan. And this is just a sampling of the talent offered.
The Marines Memorial auditorium will host this flagship event. Be sure to indulge in the gala receptions, which include appetizers, champagne and fantastic desserts.
The format for the holiday show includes songs that individual performers are famous for interpreting and songs that they choose with input from REAF directors, who strive for overall show cohesion.
This uplifting evening is a must for music lovers of all ages!
This show specifically benefits Sunburst Projects and the Positive Resource Center.
Tickets for Help is on the Way are $40 and $60, and are available at HelpIsOnTheWay.org, or by calling (415) 273-1620.
