Join Trout Unlimited and make a chapter preference for your area. In western Montana there are chapters in the Bitterroot, Missoula, and Flathead areas and a total of a dozen chapters throughout the state..
Joining a chapter is easy - just go to www.TU.org, (the National TU website), click on "Join the Community", then "Become a Member" and fill out the application form. You can join any TU Chapter you like, for example the Bitter Root Trout Unlimited number is 080, but if you make no Chapter preference, you will be assigned to a chapter that corresponds with your zip code.
All members also receive TROUT, TU's award-winning color magazine. You'll get four issues a year, full of conservation news, updates on TU activities, grassroots success stories, and fishing destinations.
TU offers a variety of membership categories which allow individuals and businesses to contribute to TU's mission at the conservation support levels of their choosing:
