The St. Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation is seeking volunteers and community donations for constructing an accurate 16th century Chalupa in time for America's oldest City's 450th Commemorations:  http://staugmaritimeheritage.org/boat-building/chalupa

Site Tour for SAMHF Members &Volunteers

Enjoy a free Site Tour of the SAMHF Chalupa  Boat House & Building Site on the Fountain of Youth grounds; the spectacular views of the adjacent Mission Nombre de Dios basin; the1565 Spanish Settlement Site and an archaeological treasure trove still under investigation.
