Have you heard the news of late? We are a nation struggling with debt, wars, loss of lives, poverty and disease. Are we concerned? It seems our real concern is getting elected in the next electoral contest. Should we spend dollars upon dollars on the results of the product of intimacy or should we place our money on who is going to blow up the world with the next bomb? Should we be the le[EH1] ast bit concerned whether or not to murder a child who is harmless to others and has no ability for self defense or to annihilate multiple people and their government? We remain concerned about our popularity, our political success with no regard for our private lives. This is a minority of selfish people who reside outside the realm of common sense.
Oh how sad it is to hear the tearful tale of how a harmless, helpless female got pregnant without any financial help in sight and certainly void of any coherent logic. Why is it that our college students, high school students and even the uneducated females are not taught the why the how the consequences and the responsibility of getting pregnant? We teach underwater basket weaving and very often declare it a requirement. Why not declare a study on the moral issue and responsibility of our society when one contributes through the privilege of adding a child to our population? The need to finance and care for that child is also a mandatory issue requiring a fathers’ assistance and providing for the mother as well. Now, of course both parties’s needed to discuss the options of revealing the father and the ability of both of them to care for the child physically and materially for at least eighteen years!
My question to all concerned is just this; what happened to the satisfaction of a goodnight kiss and looking forward to the next encounter involving a moral, fun relationship? Making the ‘wait’ worth-while could have a lasting significant effect chiseled into one’s self esteem and pride. We do maintain those attributes and if not, ‘help’
