Those interested in fashion photography should check out the current exhibition at the Photography Space, called Helmut Newton: White Women, Sleepless Nights and Big Nude. Roughly 100 of his photographs have been blown up to occupy the walls of the gallery. Two films discussing Newton are also featured.
One film, Helmut by June, gives viewers a behind the scenes look at Newton's photo shoots. It also looks into his personal life since the film was shot and directed by his wife, June Newton. The second film, Provocateur, is on loan from Arclight Productions and shows off Newton's influence in photography and fashion with interviews from those who worked with him.
Helmut Newton will be at Annenberg until September 8, meaning there is less than a month left. The exhibition features nude content, which may be inappropriate for children. Visitors can come by Wednesday-Sunday starting at 11:00am with parking available at Avenue of the Stars.
