Hells Angels Troy NY St. Patrick’s Day 2013

This St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17, was celebrated by the Hells Angels of Troy at the Oriental Shriners on the sunniest day of the weekend (no doubt the “luck of the Irish” prevailed). As is usually the case at HA parties, the “house” was packed with club supporters and friends, and with anticipation for the official beginning of Spring in a few days, all were eager to reunite and discuss riding plans for the coming season. The corned beef dinner was excellent and, thanks to the HA men and women, despite a smaller than usual venue, everything went smoothly and everyone enjoyed their food and drink.

In our Harley-Davidson-dominated country, it was nice to see a large number of sport-bike club members welcomed by the large HA community of supporters. In this world of constant turmoil, in and out of the biker culture, there is nothing more inspiring than to see so many brothers from other “colors” coming together and showing respect for each other. The best guarantee for the future survival of the American biker culture is “peace among the patches.” The Hells Angels have demonstrated that they promote acceptance among their supporters and that their loyalty is appreciated.

Don’t miss the Hells Angels MC of Troy Annual Bike Blessing on Saturday, April 20, beginning at the Sawmill Tavern in Schenectady. Let’s hope for a warm Spring day with temps in the 70’s!
