The Progressive International Motorcycle Show was held in New York City during the weekend of January 18-20, 2013. Among the hundreds of vendors at the Jacob Javits Center, New York Rider Magazine was there to meet NYR readers and distribute the latest issue of the magazine. The January issue includes information on David Brock’s KO of Lewis Bond at the Cage Wars fight at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany back in December (see video). On Saturday, January 19, the New York Rider Magazine booth was buzzing with excitement as our special “surprise” guest, Brock, arrived to spend some time with New York Rider staff members and to promote his upcoming fight on March 2. Brock took the time to pose for pictures with everyone, young and old, who came by to meet him, shake hands, and grab a “Team Brock” T-shirt. Brock’s promoter, 5 Guys Fighting, was also there to show support.
From the moment Brock and his crew arrived, the New York Rider booth was swarming with visitors, and by Saturday night, Brock left with many more fans in his arsenal (and a copy of New York Rider Magazine went home with every one of those fans!)
