On Thursday night’s episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” first was reward challenge, the chefs were told to pick a protein, starch and vegetable that would complement each other, and despite the cooking done individually, they were still competing as a team. And once again by a slight margin the Red Team won, and the men were subjected to another day of cleaning, ironing, and polishing, while the women enjoyed lunch at an exclusive resort and volleyball lessons from gold medallist winner Kerri Walsh Jennings.

Later that day as both teams gathered in the kitchen, chef Ramsay announced that he would be doing individual evaluations and would call for each chef. Jessica took it upon herself to answer the phone every time and seemed quite tickled at the chance to get one on one with chef Ramsay.

The teams were assembled back in the kitchen and chef Ramsay made an announcement never before heard on “Hell’s Kitchen”, that being that he would have each chef their team feels is the weakest in their respective camps, face off in a cooking challenge and the least successful would be sent home. Jessica, who by the way if she cooked as much as she cries she would actually be a fantastic chef, was chosen from the Red Team and from the Blue Team not surprising either was Richard.

They were to cook 3 staple dishes from “Hell’s Kitchen” menu and they had 30 minutes to do so, their teammates could cheer, however, not provide any instruction. They both fumbled during cooking and Jessica appeared to have had some issues, -not uncommon for this chef anyway-; then, it was taste time. Chef Ramsay gave praises, but announced that 1 chef would be going home and he said…To Be Continued…yes, just like that, viewers must until next week to find out the conclusion of this one time, never before seen challenge.

“Hell’s Kitchen” runs on Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
