Georgia chef Danielle Boorn joins the 20-contestant lineup for Season 11 of “Hell’s Kitchen,” celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s popular reality television cooking competition. The roster, revealed February 27, includes 10 female and 10 male chefs from across the United States.
The program returns March 12 with its eleventh season premiere, opening with a signature dish competition filmed before a live Las Vegas audience.
Who is “Hell’s Kitchen” contestant Danielle Boorn?
Thirty-three-year-old Boorn lives in Atlanta, where she works as executive chef at the White Columns Country Club in Alpharetta, Georgia. White Columns is a popular private golf and recreational facility and wedding venue.
Boorn, who studied culinary arts at the Art Institute of Atlanta, described her own perception of what it means to be a chef on her Facebook page:
A chef possesses creativity and a palette capable of tasting and appreciating the finer things in life. We know we create art and a feast that will dance in the mouths of our patrons. We thrive on the reactions of people tasting our creations.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” contestant’s signature dish is Parmesan-Encrusted Chicken with Herbed Orzo and Grilled Asparagus
Debuting March 12 at 8 p.m. ET. on Fox TV, the eleventh season of “Hell’s Kitchen” is themed “Get Out.” Boorn and the other contestant cooks will compete for the coveted prize of a head chef position, under Executive Chef Jeremy Berlin at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace.
