Chef Cyndi Stanimirov joins the 20-contestant lineup for Season 11 of “Hell’s Kitchen,” celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s popular reality television cooking competition. The roster, revealed February 27, includes 10 female and 10 male chefs from across the United States.
The hopeful contestant posted the “Hell’s Kitchen” cast announcement on her own Facebook page on February 27 with a simple comment, “Ahhhhh.”
"Hell's Kitchen" returns March 12 with its eleventh season premiere, opening with a signature dish competition filmed before a live Las Vegas audience.
Who is “Hell’s Kitchen” contestant Cyndi Stanimirov?
Twenty-five-year-old Stanimirov lives in Queens, New York, where she works as a head chef. She is of Italian and Colombian descent.
Stanimirov attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she studied culinary arts. She graduated in 2010 from Pennsylvania’s Drexel University with a degree in business administration.
She has worked in several restaurants, including Brixx of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Café Madison, of Riverside, New Jersey. Stanimirov has said she hopes to open her own restaurant someday.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” contestant’s signature dish is Tri-Color Pepper-Crusted New York Strip with Black Truffle, White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese with Asparagus.
The eleventh season of “Hell’s Kitchen," themed "Get Out,” debuts March 12 on Fox TV, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The 20 contestants will compete for the prize of a head chef position, working under Executive Chef Jeremy Berlin at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
