The chapter in “Hell’s Kitchen” tonight began with a wake up call reminiscent of boot camp, with soldiers yelling and storming the dorms. The chefs were summoned outside where chef Ramsay awaited them, but before he got to speak Gina surprised everyone by quitting right then and there.
Then the competition got under way, and it consisted of teamwork where the chefs would help each other over a wall, while collecting lobsters and the team who gathered the most lobsters would win. The Red Team managed to get 31, while the Blue Team got 37; they won but were disappointed to learn that there was nothing for them, because there was a part two to the competition. The next step was to pull out the meat from as many lobsters as possible in one piece making it nice and neat as Chef Ramsay instructed them.
The Red Team won and with it came the prize that consisted of going on a yacht, where they would have champagne, sushi, and a massage. While the Blue Team who were the losers were told that since it was fish day, they would need to get it from the truck, guts, veins and bones taken out and finally portioned.
Then dinner service began and both teams struggled to the point where Chef Ramsay kicked both teams out of the kitchen and had them nominate two members from each for elimination, Jeremy and Christian from the Blue Team; from the Red Team Mary and Danielle, and Christian was sent home, however, Jeremy was called back by chef Ramsay, but what this was about will be seen on next week’s episode.
“Hell’s Kitchen” runs on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. EST. on FOX.
