On Thursday night’s episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” the teams were challenged to cook high priced entrees with a budget of only $35, and the team who garnered the most money for their entrees would win the challenge.

They all planned, talked much, and criticized others, Joy had a fit over her dish not being up to par with what she planned, however, managed to get a price that earned the Red Team a win. And the reward was a $1,000 shopping spree at The Grove in Los Angeles, and lunch at the renowned Hatfield’s restaurant. And the Blue Team got to clean up the dorms, including the bathrooms, which had Rochelle sick to her stomach.

The chefs were then waken up the next morning and summoned and upon arriving downstairs they were met by a crowd of photographers, and chef Ramsay proceeded to announce them as the final 7 chefs for season 12, also added that there was a price in store. A “Hell’s Kitchen” calendar was brought out and every month will feature a top dish from a previous season, but the month of December was blank and in that this year's top dish will be featured, also, the winning chef will earn the first Black Jacket. The judges included Rock season 3 winner who is featured in the month of March, then Paul season 9 winner featuring the month of September, and Dana, second runner up in season 10 who is featured in the month of October.

The chefs were given 45 minutes to cook a fabulous dish that would earn them not only the feature in the one month missing in the calendar, but also the much coveted Black Jacket. The all talked a lot, fumbled here and there, Melanie put flour in the mashed potatoes to thick them up, and the judges felt something odd, bottom line 6 cooks with the possibility of earning 20 points maximum failed miserably Rochelle is the highest with just 13, they all have been criticized and chef Ramsay could only walk away in disgust upon hearing from Joy that her dish was made up of ingredients she had not used before, nor enjoy eating…The conclusion to this debacle will play out next week…

“Hell’s Kitchen” runs on Thursday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
