On Thursday night’s installment of “Hell’s Kitchen”, each team was asked to create its own menu for that night’s dinner service. The suggestions flew left and right, and on the Red Team, Melanie, who finally had to agree that his motion for scallop dish was appropriate, quickly shut everything that Anton proposed down.

The Blue Team was in sync and agreed on the dishes, but Rochelle was silent throughout and used her inexperience as the excuse for her silence, which goes to show that she is not the leader that chef Ramsay is looking for, instead she does well at following as she showed during dinner service and the dishes that she delivered were flawless.

The Red Team was not in sync at first during dinner service, their dishes were not being chosen by the diners, however, once they began to receive orders Melanie was at a loss with the scallop dish she was in charge of, and only because of Anton who found additional protein was she able to serve the final scallop dish of the night. Kashia was lost as well with her meat entrée and continued mumbling unintelligible throughout the service. The Blue Team although successful at first, found themselves falling apart due to Richard and Gabriel, both of whom have shown week after week that they are just hanging in there, but their time is coming as the field of chefs gets smaller and smaller.

The Red Team was declared winner, and so the Blue Team had to come up with 2 chefs to go up for elimination, and it did not take a genius to know whom those would be. Richard pleaded his case and asked to be kept in the kitchen and prove that he is what chef Ramsay is looking for, also Gabriel, who should use that passion for cooking rather than defend himself once he is up for elimination. Chef Ramsay thought for a moment and then proceeded to ask Richard for his jacket, and then it was between Kashia, Joy, or Melanie to decide which would volunteer to change teams, as chef Ramsay had asked to even out the field, and Melanie will wear blue next week.

“Hell’s Kitchen” runs on Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
