Tonight on “Hell on Wheels” the show might put a face to Brigham Young in a powerful story line that decides the fate of one character. The Mormon leader has been discussed in the story, but revealing his image might make some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) uncomfortable. According to the News and Observer on Saturday, the Swede faces consequences at Fort Smith by the church leader and his fate will be decided. There is hope that the Swede doesn't die as viewers have seen over the series that the character has figured out how to outsmart the pioneers.

The other big story that fans will be watching is the introduction to Cullen Bohannon’s pal and how Anson Mount’s character was before the war when working together. It’s obvious that Bohannon wants to forget his past and in the process of dealing with his issues he puts his family at risk. The continuous choices the cowboy faces always impresses the viewers.

Hell on Wheels” has been acknowledged by viewers who are looking for alternative choices after the news of “Longmire” being cancelled. While the shows have little in comparison there have been rumors that “Hell on Wheels” might have the same fate in the future. It’s doubtful though as the show is well written, has a strong main character who continuously wavers from bad good to good guy and offers amazing cinematography. It is likely the rumors are coming from “Longmire” fans who are disappointed in the decision to discontinue the series.

“Hell on Wheels” returns to AMC on Saturday night with Cullen Bohannon once again looking to talk (or ride) his way out of a tight jam while working on the railroad.
