Red Robin is offering the first 100 guests at each restaurant nationwide a free cup of Red’s Chili Chili™ on February 26, 2013. The deal celebrates that fact that temperatures in Hell, Michigan, were certified at 25 degrees on February 20.
No coupon is required for this one day offer.
According to Denny Marie Post, Red Robin’s senior vice president and chief menu and marketing officer, “Last week, temperatures in Hell failed to rise above 32 degrees, so Hell has officially frozen over! We’re giving everyone in America an opportunity to try our delicious, freshly prepared chili. On its own or with one of our craveable burgers, Red’s Chili Chili™ will warm up even the chilliest guest.” The prepared statement goes on to say "it may be a cold day in Hell, but a fiery-fun-time at Red Robin!"
The temperature in Hell was certified by Hell's mayor, John Colone. “With Hell freezing over, we’ve given Red Robin fans a real snowball’s chance in hell to try Red’s Chili Chili,” commented Colone. “Coming from someone who reigns over Hell, this is a helluvah great offer. On behalf of the citizens of Hell, you’re welcome America!”
The chain describes Red’s Chili Chili™ as "a savory meal-starter made with a meaty blend of beans, spices, hearty peppers, and topped with cheddar, onions and tortilla strips." that is guaranteed to " light a fire in the belly of any guest."
