It comes as little surprise that the "red cars" of Penske and Ganassi mostly led the way on Fast Friday, with Helio topping everyone at 228.611 mph. Top ten surprises include Alex Tagliani (P2) and Bertrand Baguette (P4!). All of which might actually make for an interesting Pole Day tomorrow.
Then, there's the Scott Speed saga. By "Happy Hour," rumors spread that Speed had gotten into an argument with his Dragon Racing team. It was so bad that all reports indicated that Speed had quit in utter frustration.
Perhaps he did, but for now, everyone seems to have "made up." Could be a weird weekend folks!
