Height requirements at Disneyland Park

Not all rides at Disneyland Park in California were designed for all heights. That is why there are height requirements on several attractions. Remember that these are in place for the safety of your child. Ask a cast member to measure your child at the entrance to the ride if you are unsure of his or her height. Take advantage of the Rider Switch option if you still want to ride but your child is not tall enough.

At Disneyland Park guests must be at least 32 inches tall and with someone who is 54 inches or taller in order to ride Autopia. You also must be at least 54 inches in order to ride it alone. Gadget's Go Coaster requires guests to be 35 inches or taller. There are four rides with a height requirement of at least 40 inches; Star Tours, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. Guests must be at least 42 inches to ride Matterhorn Bobsleds. Indiana Jones Adventure has a height requirement of at least 46 inches.
