Heidi Montag planning 'mommy makeover' in the form of plastic surgery

Heidi Montag isn't done with plastic surgery just yet. The reality star, who is best known for the MTV series "The Hills," made headlines earlier this month when she announced that she had ten plastic surgery procedures in the span of one day. This time, though, she's planning on getting her mother under the knife.

In a new story from ABC's "Nightline," Heidi balked at reports that her mother was furious at her over the recent operation:

"Actually, she was excited for me and she's asking me ... for her surgery next...So for Mother's Day, I have to ask [plastic surgeon] Dr. Frank Ryan if he'll do the mommy makeover. But I think that she understands. And I think the first surgery was a little more weary for her, and a little more foreign to her, and she was a little more concerned."

Heidi has continued to face criticism over the procedures, with many suggesting that she is serving as a poor influence in a society where women are already faced with so many pressures about her image -- but is it her responsibility to be a role model? That's the question most of us are forced to ask.

One person who has been supportive is husband / co-star Spencer Pratt. Even though he found Heidi "beautiful" before the operation, he recognizes that Heidi has the right to do what she wants with her body.
