Heidi Montag: I'm giving my mom a plastic surgery makeover

Heidi Montag, who recently made headlines for undergoing a shocking 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day, wants to share the silicone with her mom, Darlene Egelhoff. Heidi_Montag_mom_Darlene_Egelhoff

"For Mother's Day, I have to ask [my surgeon] Dr. Frank Ryan if he'll do the mommy makeover," Montag, 23, tells ABC.

Refuting reports that her mom was furious at her for her extreme makeover, Heidi insists her mom was supportive and happy for her.

"Actually, [my mom] was excited for me and she's asking me for her surgery next," said Montag.

On Nov. 20, 2009, Montag underwent a 10-hour operation where she received a revised breast augmentation, a brow lift, botox in her forehead, a nose job revision, fat injections in her cheeks, a chin reduction, neck liposuction and had her ears pinned back. Heidi previously had a nose job and breast implants.

'IT'S MY JOB TO LOOK GOOD'

Since her recent surgeries, Montag has been criticized for going overboard in her quest for beauty and setting a bad example for young girls. The reality star defends her decision, claiming she needs to look her best to work in the looks-obsessed entertainment industry. Heidi_Montag_plastic_surgery_before_after_photo

"I am trying to be a pop star, and I just have my album that came out," Heidi told People.

She adds: "[The music business is] a very cutthroat industry. When Britney [Spears] was in her prime, it was her sex appeal that sold. And without that sex appeal, I don't know if she would have had the career she would have had."

Of course, Montag neglects to point out that Britney has an above-average singing voice and is an excellent dancer--talents she does not possess, as evidenced by her embarrassing performance at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant.

Ironically, Heidi's debut CD, Superficial, has performed dismally since its Jan. 11 release. Despite the incredible amount of press Montag received for her surgeries, her CD reportedly sold a paltry 658 copies in its first week.

SURGEON: LOTS OF GIRLS WANT THE HEIDI MAKEOVER

Sadly, young girls who are fans of Heidi's MTV reality show, The Hills, have reportedly been inspired by her to undertake plastic surgeries of their own.

"We're getting literally hundreds of calls from patients who want the Heidi Montag bombshell," claims her surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan. "I disagree that [Heidi got too] much plastic surgery. These are little tweaks."
