In a world where sex tapes can make you famous, Heidi Montag is just another reality TV star trying to make it big. In a desperate attempt to revive her career, the former Hills star is desperately bringing attention to her sex tape encounters with perky, blonde Playboy model Karissa Shannon - Also Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend.
Karissa Shannon: "Spencer is NOT in the sex tapes!"
"There is a sex tape of me and Heidi," the 20-year-old confesses, while adding there was not a three-way between the girls and Heidi's ex-hubby Spencer Pratt. "It's just me and Heidi, that's it."
The two girls met shortly after Heidi's split from Spencer. While the two proclaim being officially divorced, fans are speculating sometime fishy after they were spotted vacationing jointly in Costa Rica.
"Please follow my good friends @karissashannon1 and @Kristinashn1," the 23-year-old Heidi tweeted after hanging with the twins at the Playboy mansion. Frolicking back and forth between the mansion, Heidi and twin sis Karissa decided to film a joint sex tape together, but despite popular belief they're claiming it wasn't for fame.

"I'm not really trying to sell it," Karissa said in an interview. "Because I don't really want people to see it."
She adds that she was "there for Heidi through the divorce" and she no longer approves of Spencer's odd behavior. She claims that Pratt "stole the camera" and that there's "other stuff on there" that Karissa would rather keep private.
Heidi, on the other hand, is reportedly meeting with Vivid Entertainment executives to negotiate a deal.
Celebrity Sex Tapes = Rise to Fame?
The recent sex tape scandal surrounding Montana Fishburne has brought light onto reality TV stars releasing sex tapes to become famous. When asked why Fishburne decided to launch into the adult entertainment career, she cited Kim Kardashian's post-sex tape fame as inspiration.
"I do really enjoy the sex [but] I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became," says Montana. "And I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape."

its NOT going to make Heidi anymore 'famous' than she already is,
her 'body' just isn't getting her anywhere she has to have more than that going
