Heidi Klum talks Project Runway, plays Barbie with Conan O'Brien

Supermodel Heidi Klum visited Conan O’Brien on the set of the Tonight Show to discuss the new season of Project Runway which is set for debut August 20. It was announced last week that the new season would be another star-studded affair of Hollywood’s most glamorous divas. So far stars such as Lindsey Lohan, Christina Aguilera, and Eva Longoria Parker are scheduled to appear as guest judges.

Before her fame as the hostess and judge on the popular Project Runway, and the mistress of the phrase, “auf wiedersehen,” Klum was a Victoria Secret model and also a Sports Illustrated cover girl. She is currently expecting her fourth child with pop singer Seal.

Klum, glowing and very pregnant, took advantage of her friendship with O’Brien to flirt and even sing a few German-inspired lullabies. Her appearance on The Tonight Show served a dual purpose: besides the new season of Project Runway, Klum was there to introduce the Heidi Klum Barbie doll, a series in which the doll celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Mattel’s launch of the Blond Ambition Barbie series honors famous blondes of fashion and entertainment industries. The Heidi Klum Barbie dolls sell in the price range of  around $40.99 and are available for a limited time.

So as we’ve heard many times “in fashion, one day you’re in, the next day you’re out “ so with any luck, Klum’s Barbie will stand the test of time next to the Marilyn Monroe replicas that is also currently on the market.
