Heidi Klum sizzles in Project Runway gown: Her Paleo-style low carb diet

Gorgeous and glamorous Heidi Klum proved that she believes in the talents of Project Runway contestants. She chose a dress that was created by one of the current candidates to wear at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmys, reported E News.

"So proud of my @projectrunway designer @seankelly for making my dress," tweeted Heidi prior to the event. The gown featured bright blue strings that Heidi showcased by twirling to flaunt the features. The dapper Tim Gunn coached her to spin so that she looked like a whirling top as she made her way along the red carpet.

So just how does Heidi maintain that fabulous figure? At 41, she stays slim with a Paleo-style low carb diet featuring protein, vegetables and fruit, she told Glamour magazine.

"In 2013, I made a New Year's resolution to drink a fruit and veggie smoothie every morning. It's one of those that went from a resolution to a life habit," revealed Heidi.

As for exercise, Heidi enjoys intense cardio activity. She works out regularly with celebrity trainer David Kirsch.

She wears her own clothing collection that she created for New Balance for all of her favorite fitness sessions.

"Running, hiking with my dogs, riding my bike, jumping on the trampoline with my kids...pretty much for everything! I love pairing the dance pants with the floral run jacket if it's cooler out or with the cropped dance tee if it’s warmer," she said.

To help her children stay healthy, Heidi encourages them to exercise with her. "We love listening to upbeat music, so sometimes we turn up the volume and dance around together. It's important to teach your kids the value of being active by setting a good example," she added.
