At every awards show there is one celebrity who is almost always poorly dressed and that is Heidi Klum. She either over does the glitz or selects designs that are simply not flattering. For someone so tied to fashion that is an amazing feat. The 'Project Runway'star for the first time in my opinion looked amazing at an event. She took to the red carpet at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmys on August 16, 2014 at the Nokia Theater according to Just Jared looking great.
Both Heidi and Tim Gunn were nominated for Outstanding Host for A Reality or Reality-Competition for 'Project Runway.' The Lifetime show is in Season 13. Though Heidi did not take home a prize which went to 'Hollywood Game Night' she won in fashion.
Heidi chose to wear a design created by one of the contestants from 'Project Runway.' The designer is 25-year-old Sean Kelly from Brooklyn, New York. The gown packed a powerful fashion punch in terms of both color and design. It featured a plunging v-neckline and a super low back. The color was a bright cobalt blue. The movement of the design created drama and worked really well for photos. The dress was not the most figure flattering but it did light up the model's face.
Heidi added a small blue necklace and a ring by designer Lorraine Schwartz who is a favorite of Kim Kardashian. High peep toe platforms rounded out her look. The 'Project Runway' host chose to wear her hair swept back which worked well to balance the movement of the dress.
We are thrilled Heidi took the plunge wearing such a dynamic look to the event. Now if she would lose her boyfriend Vito Schnabel all will be good. Her choice in men just like most of her clothing leaves a lot to be desired.
