Heidi Fleiss premiered new show “Heidi Fleiss: Prostitutes to Parrots on Animal Planet, July 31. The one hour special detailed Fleiss’ love for macaws. Fleiss has 20 macaws that she lets roam free uncaged in her home in Pahrump, Nevada.

Fleiss may come off as a bit eccentric, but one thing is for sure, she loves her parrots. She especially loves her Scarlet Macaw named Golly. Speaking about her beloved Golly, Fleiss said, "I love her," and "I just want to squeeze her to death sometimes."

Fleiss keeps many different types of macaws, including a blue Hyacinth Macaw, Greenwing macaws, and Scarlet macaws. The birds keep her company and keep her clean as she battles sobriety. These birds are the first pets Fleiss has ever owned.

Fleiss is under no illusion that everyone likes her or that people actually understand her. She said "Some people say I'm a washed-up whore; some people say I'm a crackhead," She went on to say, "It's been a crazy way to reinvent myself, but I love my birds, and I will be successful no matter what I do."

There is no word on if Heidi Fleiss: Prostitutes to Parrots will have any future episodes. The ending of the show makes it seem like this could be a series.

Fleiss also owns a laundromat in Pahrump called "Dirty Laundry".
