Heavy rain possible this afternoon across northwestern Pennsylvania (Video)

Low pressure will move northeastward across the region today. Rain has already broken out across northwestern Pennsylvania. An area of heavy rain over Ohio will shift eastward across northwestern Pennsylvania this afternoon. Some minor flooding is possible. It will be a mild day with highs reaching the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.

The showers will taper off this evening with mostly cloudy skies expected overnight. Lows tonight will fall to the mid 40s.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and very mild with afternoon high temperatures climbing to near 60 degrees.

Another storm system will develop across the deep south on Saturday and move northeastward toward western Pennsylvania Saturday night and Sunday. Rain will redevelop across the area Saturday night and continue through the day on Sunday. Again, some locally heavy rainfall will be possible. Highs on Sunday will be a little cooler, but still mild for this time of year. Most locations will top out around 50 degrees.

A strong cold front will move across the area Sunday night, ushering in much colder temperatures. Rain showers will mix with or change to snow showers late Sunday night and continue through the day on Monday. Highs on Monday will only reach the mid 30s.
