Despite a mostly cloudy day highs at Philly International Airport reached 83. There were some rain showers in the area, but no measurable rain was reported this afternoon(as of the 5pm climate report). Overnight we will have light rain and drizzle with even some fog as lows will be in the upper 60s.

Plenty of moisture works northward for Friday ahead of a cold front
NOAA

Friday will feature heavy rain and even a thunderstorm with highs around 70; between 1-3" of rain will fall and hence there is a Flash Flood Watch in effect for Friday. Rain will taper off overnight with lows in the middle 50s. Saturday will feature sunshine, but then clouds will bubble up once we reach our convective temperature(the approximate temperature the surface must warm to in order for clouds to develop) as a through pushes through. There could be an isolate shower with highs once again around 70.

Sunday will be in the upper 60s to around 70 with a piece of energy pushing to the south, but that cold front from Friday will start to retrograde closer to the coast; this will lead to Monday being overcast and dreary with light ran as highs are between 65-70.
