A powerful cold front will slide across West Michigan Wednesday bringing some periods of heavy rain. Behind the front, cold air will settle in with a wind form the northwest. This wind will create a few lake effect rain and snow showers inland and mainly rain showers at the immediate lakeshore.
Temperatures ahead of the front remain relatively mild, in the low to mid 50s. Behind the front readings dip into the 30s and 40s.
