One of the biggest and most mysterious PS3 titles has been Heavy Rain. After being unveiled around the time of the PS3s introduction, the title vanished for several years never to been seen again until just this past year. With the sudden surge of new information also came a surge of hype. Utilizing new concepts of character interaction, Heavy Rain is going for something totally unique and the release date of the title is sooner than one expected.
Famitsu is reporting a February 18th release in Japan, which means a North American release date will surely be around the same time, too. Though Sony America hasn't formally announced a date, it's been assumed it'll be in the opening months of 2010. Hopefully, this means we'll also have a February release date to coincide with the Japanese release.
We'll be getting in contact with Sony about a North American release date shortly.

Well from the looks of things there are a million games releasing in March so this game would definitely need to come out in February to get some space, especially since it doesn't have online
Heh. What are you saying? There are WAY too many games coming out in the first 3 months of 2010 to begin with. Many people, not just myself will be hard pressed to find enough free time and, most importantly, the money for them all. Oy! 2010 in going to be one hell of a year. :P

Online its not a defining purchase point if the storiteling is good, gameplay, graphics, music etc is good i don't need a multiplayer... im searching for good games even if MW2 or uncharted 2 didn't have a MP i will still love them...

Europe should be getting this first as it is being done in Europe. No date yet but expect it to be a week or two before everywhere else.

i still think this is just a really good looking, but long cinema tht u watch while u get to interact with by pushing the right command at the right time. if any 1 has played any mgsolid game then u should kno wht ur getting into. interacting in the mgs cinemas was cool cause i knew it was only until i got bact to the actual gaming. i just dont see how watching/interacting with a really long cinema can justify the ridiculous price tag its asking for.
