One person who believes that several of the "Real Housewives of New York City" cast members should stay on for at least another season is Heather Thomson. Not surprisingly, she believes that she, along with Carole Radziwill and Kristen Taekman, should be saved from any casting shakeup.

On Thursday, June 26, Heather retweeted a fan's tweet asking Kristen to please confirm that she, Carole and Heather are not leaving the show. The fan, who made sure to also direct the tweet at Andy Cohen and the Bravo network, added that if that happens, it would be a wrong choice and bad move.

Clearly, by retweeting the tweet, Heather also believes that dropping her, Carole and Kristen from the cast would be a major mistake. It's no surprise that she believes that Carole should stay, since the two are very good friends and have had each other's backs ever since they joined the show in season five. Heather has stuck up for Carole so strongly that sometimes she seemed to be more furious with Aviva Drescher for claiming earlier in the season that Carole used a ghostwriter than Carole was herself.

Since Kristen joined the cast in season six, she has been more close to Heather and Carole. Facing off against the team of Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and Kristen Taekman, which is sometimes joined by part-time housewife LuAnn de Lesseps, has been the team of Sonja Morgan, Aviva Drescher and Ramona Singer.

The fan's tweet is likely in reaction to an article published on Wednesday, June 25, that almost the entire cast of "The Real Housewives of New York City" is in danger of being eliminated because producers believe that a drastic casting shakeup is needed to boost ratings. According to the source, producers won't just cancel the show entirely because New York City is too valuable a city to lose. The source added that the only housewife who is likely to be saved is Ramona Singer, who has been with the show since the very beginning.
