Heather Thompson and her husband Jonathan Schindler have a great relationship, despite reports.

Recently, after the "Real Housewives of New York" season five premiere clip was released, rumors began to surface which claimed the reality star and her husband were on the rocks and struggling to make their marriage work.

Since the preview featured what appeared to be Thomson and Schindler going through a bit of a rough patch, many assumed they could be heading for a split, but Thomson is now speaking out, assuring fans that their is no truth to the rumors.

“I have a very great relationship with my husband,” Thomson told Radar Online on March 12. “We’ve been through a lot together, more than most married couples go through —and I’m a cast member on the show, not my husband. My reality is my children and my husband.”

While no relationship is perfect, and every couple has their issues some of the time, Thomson is appalled that the rumor mill has made such outrageous claims.

“Anybody that’s going to attack that is either looking for a fight or they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about," she stated. "And I defend it vehemently.”
