Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill want Aviva Drescher replaced on 'RHONY'

Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill didn't miss Aviva Drescher at all when she didn't go with the rest of the housewives to Heather's home in the Berkshires. In fact, they wouldn't miss her at all if she was gone from "The Real Housewives of New York City" entirely. On Wednesday, May 7, Heather and Carole expressed their agreement when a fan tweeted a photo of the opening of Tuesday night's episode, in which Aviva is missing from the group shot of the housewives holding their apples.

The fan wrote that she wishes that the show's intro would stay like the Tuesday one forever, clearly meaning that she wishes that Aviva would be gone from the show permanently. She directed her tweet to Heather and Carole, as well as to Kristen Taekman, all of whom have had issue with Aviva this season.

While Kristen has remained silent so far, Heather and Carole were more than happy to let people know what they think of the idea of Aviva being fired from the show. Heather replied that they just need LuAnn de Lesseps brought back on as a starring housewife, rather than just her current "friend of the housewives" status.

Carole wrote in to say that she agrees and asked people to start a write-in campaign, ending her tweet with the hashtag "#WhereisLu'sApple?" Given Carole's bad relationship with Aviva, due to Aviva's claim that Carole used a ghostwriter for both of her books early on in the season, it likely that Carole's write-in campaign would not just campaign for LuAnn's return but also Aviva's permanent departure.

According to Naughty But Nice Rob, Aviva was left out of the opening credits of Tuesday night's episode in retaliation after she refused to go on the group trip to Montana. Bravo also saw the move as a way to drum up publicity for "The Real Housewives of New York City." Sources say that she won't be seen for the next three episodes either but will appear again when the housewives return from their Montana trip. Perhaps Carole Radziwill's and Heather Thomson's hopes that Aviva Drescher is permanently replaced with LuAnn de Lesseps will come true for next season?
