LuAnn de Lesseps may take a back seat to the other ladies on this new season of "The Real Housewives of New York City" but it's her best season ever, at least according to her co-star Heather Thomson. In a video interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Tuesday, March 11, Heather, joined by Aviva Drescher and new housewife Kristen Taekman, talked about what viewers can expect from LuAnn this sixth season.
Heather said that viewers will see the real LuAnn, not just LuAnn the Countess, and the real LuAnn is one to love.
"I think LuAnn, on the show, it's her best season ever. And the Countess, I think, takes a back seat this season and that makes me thrilled because it, the Countess is in there, believe me it's part of her personality and it's part of what I love about her but I think you see the real LuAnn, you know outside of that, really flourish this season and so I'm thrilled about that for her because I get to share her with everybody I feel like in a really real way," she said.
While Heather may love LuAnn, fellow housewife Aviva's relationship with her is not all smooth sailing. Aviva revealed that, much to her surprise, she had an argument with LuAnn. Aviva didn't reveal what the argument was about so viewers will just have to watch!
LuAnn said in January to E! News that she reduced her role on "The Real Housewives of New York City" in order to concentrate on her personal life and other business endeavors. She feels like the reduced role gives her the best of both worlds.
"It's a win-win for me. I'm still on the show. I'm still very much a part of the show, but it's not a fulltime thing. It's very engulfing when you're on it. It takes up all of your mental and physical energy," she said.
Are you disappointed that LuAnn de Lesseps isn't a full-time housewife this season?
