Heather Morris’ baby announcement is happy news that falls on the heels of the Cory Monteith tragedy: “Glee” recently teased the October 10th tribute episode on Twitter, shortly before the actress who portrays Brittany Pierce gave birth to her bundle of joy.
The 26-year-old actress/singer/dancer will not return for the fifth season of “Glee”, however sources close to Heather Morris told Us Weekly, which first exposed her baby news back in April, the new celebrity mom reveled in her pregnancy and sparkled with the familiar glow.
Heather Morris began her career as a dancer and appeared on season two of “So You Think You Can Dance”, but didn’t make the top 20. Prior to landing the role of Brittany on FOX’s “Glee”, Morris performed as a backup dancer for Beyoncé with notable appearances on SNL and the 2008 Grammys.
Baby Elijah’s dad is Taylor Hubbell and Heather Morris’ longtime boyfriend since high school. She hopes to marry and have more children with Hubbell, but Morris has stated she will not allow her career to interfere with her family aspirations.
An all-new episode of "Glee" returns to FOX on October 3, without Heather Morris.
