Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills, already known for her media unfriendly personality, said Sept. 4 she won't do interviews about her attempt to qualify for the 2014 Winter Paralympics unless the media does everything she asks, the Daily Telegraph reported Sept. 4. And the list is long.
According to the paper, she won't answer questions about her marriage to Paul McCartney, her lucrative divorce settlement or her private life.
But those are the tip of the iceberg. Mills wants to be able to edit the story and the pictures and approve the final version, according to the text of a statement from her publicist.
"The parties agree that no question will be put to HM regarding her marriage to and divorce from Paul McCartney; his new marriage, her private life; any legal proceedings that have involved HM nor any negative media stories. The purpose of the interview is for it to feature HM discussing her ski training for 2014 Paralympics, veganism, her general life, how she lost her leg and how and why she started with charity work,” her publicist said.
"Agree that HM will view the final edit to be published/broadcast and have approval over same (not to be unreasonably withheld). Any items not agreed by HM will be deleted and replaced with agreed footage."
