Terry Elvis told the local news media outlet he's made a promise to his daughter that “No matter what, no matter where, no matter the cost. No matter the penalty, no matter the ramifications, whatever it takes, I will find you and fix it.”
He also said since Heather vanished he “cries easily,” which he had not done before and everything seems to remind him of her.
“I can’t watch TV, I can’t watch a movie. Anytime I see someone with a missing loved one, I’m moved to tears,” Terry stated.
He added that nothing will be back to the way it once was until Heather is back home, noting, “We’ll go back to being a completed family, but we’ll never go back to being normal.

Heather went missing in the early morning hours of Dec. 18 after being dropped off at her apartment by her date, who authorities say is not a suspect in her disappearance.
According to The State, a police report filed on Dec. 19 indicates Heather’s vehicle was discovered at Peachtree boat and landing, just a day after she vanished.
Terry has stated the last time he heard from his daughter was on Dec. 17 at around 10:43 p.m. when she sent him a text message.
The State reports there is a $25,000 reward for information about Heather’s whereabouts.
Her family has created a Facebook page, FindHeatherElvis in an effort to locate her.
