Terry Dubrow has admitted that he doesn't want to do another season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and it seems that a big reason for that is that he feels he was wrongly manipulated to be a villain on season nine. In an interview with RumorFix, posted on Tuesday, August 26, Terry explained why he exploded at Shannon Beador's husband, David Beador, over an innocent comment that he yelled out to Heather Dubrow during a party that took place months prior.
In the finale episode, David approached Terry and Heather and apologized for telling Heather to "spread [her] legs" while she was riding a mechanical bull at her party a few months prior. Terry not only didn't really accept the apology but later on in the night went on a verbal attack against David, calling him names and seemingly putting him down as just another construction worker who hollers at women.
Viewers were shocked by Terry's behavior. Terry's anger towards David seemed especially unwarranted since a clip also showed that Tamra Barney's husband, Eddie Judge, yelled out something sexual during the mechanical bull rides as well but Terry didn't get mad at him.
In his RumorFix interview, Terry explained that when he exploded at David, he hadn't actually watched the clip of what David said. "Some Housewives and others told me ‘David said horrible things about Heather and spreading her legs,'" Terry said, adding that no one told him anything about what Eddie said.
When Terry actually watched the clip of what David said a few days before the reunion, he realized that he overreacted and "was played." "They wound me up. They know the only way to get me going to to say something about my wife and kids," he said. He also apologized for offending construction workers and maintained that he's simply "a douchebag by accident."
Could one of those people who told Terry the wrong, inflammatory information been Tamra? Tamra may have wanted to keep Terry and Heather fighting with David and Shannon. After all, Tamra, who has been caught lying more than once, has admitted that she has no problem causing trouble since that makes the show interesting to watch.
The big question now is whether Terry and Heather Dubrow will return for season 10 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Since he now has his own successful reality TV show, "Botched," and she has more acting roles, they may very well decide that it's no longer worth it to deal with the manipulations of reality TV.
