If Heather Dubrow leaves the reality show “Real Housewives of Orange County" would the show survive? The reality star offers a highbrow look of life in the Orange County area and fans love watching her scrutinize her cast members in ways that only an eccentric, but charming woman could do. However, this might be changing for season 10. According to Christian Today on Monday, the reality star could decide to walk away from the show because of her husband Terry Dubrow and his reality show.

Apparently Terry Dubrow isn't interested in returning to a new season of the reality show and wants to focus on his show "Botched." Telling the site WetPaint that he isn't interested in another season the fans were shocked. Terry’s reality show is about plastic surgery and the series already been asked to produce a second season.

There is another big variable to the situation as Heather Dubrow is using her reality star status to find herself work acting. If she decides to leave the fans will see her on television, but it could be in a different medium and in comedy, drama or another show. Of course, this would mean that all the words she says are scripted, but it still would be great TV for the viewers.

Fans watching this reality show scenario play out have wondered if it would be possible for two reality stars to be on two different shows without there being some healthy competition. Keeping in mind that reality stars are already considered somewhat vain, the idea of the two living under the same roof has been a question of how long it would last. Or if it would work well because the celebrities are on different networks.

Hearing the news that the two reality stars are looking at the possibilities of the future without the “Real Housewives of Orange County” has people wondering if Bravo should allow folks to cross over to other networks when under contract as a housewife character and her family are a big part of the show.
