3/15/14: Read happy update here.

You are looking into the beautiful face of a heartbroken senior who must find placement today, March 15.

Bella (A22227315), an unaltered Chocolate Lab/pit mix, is between 10-15 years old. Her former owner, suffering from health problems, surrendered her to Animal Care and Control Team (ACCT) in Philly, when other family members could not help care for her.

Bella is understandably terrified, and urgently needs networking in order to be saved, which unfortunately is only today. She is described as still quite active and deserves to live out the rest of her days in the comforts of home.

We know how upsetting it is to share an animal with so little time to be saved. However, regardless of the amount of time she was given, we must try in hopes of finding someone willing to give her the chance to continue on with her life being loved, cared for, and happy again.

If you can open your heart and home to her, she is at ACCT, 111 W. Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19140. Adoption hours are10am-5pm. Foster Care hours are 9am-6pm.
