Although the most famous Wilson from Seattle this Super Bowl week might be quarterback Russell of the Seahawks, the Wilson from Seattle with the best long term track record are sisters Ann and Nancy. Better known as Heart, the Wilson sisters and their band will perform in Phoenix on Sunday night, April 27, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the Celebrity Theatre.

Not that Heart doesn’t have its own Seattle Seahawks tie in. Ann Wilson performed the National Anthem at the NFC Championship game in her hometown of Seattle on January 19.

Although it’s doubtful you’ll hear Ann belt out “The Star Spangled Banner” in the confines of the Celebrity, there’s a good chance you might hear “Crazy on You,” “Barracuda,” “Alone,” plus a few more of their 19 top forty hits. Additionally, expect to hear a few songs from Heart’s latest studio recording release, 2012’s “Fanatic."

The last two years have been busy ones for Heart. In addition to the release of “Fanatic,” Heart released a 4 CD box set, “Strange Euphoria,” which spanned their career and included greatest hits, unreleased material and live cuts. Heart also released their autobiography, "Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock & Roll."

The accolades for Heart reached a zenith with Ann and Nancy receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012 and the band being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year.

Next month, Heart plans to release “Fanatic Live From Caesars Colosseum” as a CD and DVD/Blu Ray. Filmed by AXS-TV, the video should be a glimpse of what Heart fans can expect when Heart comes to Phoenix in April as part of their “Fanatic” tour.
