Any aerobic/cardio exercises done for a minimum 20 minutes a day is excellent for increasing your heart rate. Walking up stairs, a brisk walk, or treadmill, anything to get your heart rate up. You don’t need to over do it, just enough to exercise to get your heart rate up for a bit. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Vegetables and fruits are good sources of vitamins and minerals. Vegetables and fruits are also low in calories and rich in dietary fiber. Whole grains are good sources of fiber and other nutrients that play a role in regulating blood pressure and heart health.
